Nicolas Ghesquière injected a dose of edgy rock ’n’ roll attitude into Balenciaga this season. While there were hints of Fifties couture mixed in pale colors like green almond and flesh, the collection was graphic and punched up with tougher elements, including studs and leather motorcycle pants.
Many looks are taken from the boudoir, with a constructed tailored look and a touch of feminine romance.
