Topman Design
This season’s Topman Design collection was, to say the least, fashion-forward. Rife with layered bright colors and prints — including neon — even the most daring of men may have second thoughts wearing the looks as styled on the runway. There was much to love when pieces were taken individually however, in particular cropped pants in a variety of monochrome hues, perforated blazers, and slouchy sweaters.
Pringle of Scotland
Alistair Carr leaves his post at Pringle of Scotland on a high note with a preppy-with-a-twist collection brimming with argyle. Printed over-the-knee shorts and collarless jackets also made a memorable impact.
Jonathan Saunders
Classically cut trousers, cardigans, and twin sets were given some drama thanks to bright colors and vibrant prints inspired by David Bowie in his Thin White Duke persona.
Joseph Abboud
The preppy dresser who wants to look effortlessly dapper need not look further than this season’s Joseph Abboud collection which blended neutral tones with prints and pops of red for a variety of chic looks. The only hitch were the shirt collars, which in some cases were slightly too long, giving them a dated appearance.
Nicole Farhi
Over-the-knee shorts continued to make a strong play with a prominent place in the Nicole Farhi collection. Silhouettes were kept slender and a variety of textiles were used for a mixed texture effect that ran throughout the collection.
