We don't know what's going on among Pinterest users — perhaps it's post-NYFW malaise? — but our dashboard is positively blowing up with gorgeous food pictures. Because good photography is good photography, well-done food photos sort of remind us of great fashion photography. In both cases, we're probably looking at something we covet (one for ingesting, the other for displaying), so the images illicit similar feelings. We have to say, we follow pinners with seriously great tastebuds, who have us getting into everything from ice cream in sandwich form to all sorts of baked wonders (including the most beautiful-but-chill cake you've ever seen). Click through for what's whetting our appetites this week and we dare you not to crave something from the list by the time you're through.

End-of-Summer Sorbet
Because, well, technically, it's still summer for a few days. If that's your bag, you might want to usher the season out gracefully (and deliciously) with this cool treat.

Mini Funnel Cakes
This photo is so Pinterest-ready, we would giggle, but we're too busy dreaming of how awesome these probably taste. Funnel cakes were always our favorite carnival food.

Ice Cream
Is it crazy to keep loving ice cream as the weather cools? Hopefully not, because this dish of "olive oil saffron with burnt orange caramel swirl" looks mighty delectable.

"Healthy" Ice Cream Sandwich
Did we mention that we like ice cream year-round? And if these ice cream sandwiches are as healthy as claimed, count us in times two.

The Most Beautiful Cake Ever
Okay, seriously? This floral cake may be too pretty to even consider eating (but a girl can dream).
-
Comely Chicken
These chicken drumsticks are gorgeous enough to make a vegetarian's mouth water.
-
A Pie in the Hand
Hand pies? Ingenious... as is the herbal/fruity flavor combo in these, made of peaches and basil.

Breakfast Anytime
Because breakfast tastes good at any hour of the day, the looks of this eggy polenta dish is mouthwatering 24/7.
-
Healthy AND Pretty
We think a lot of folks would be more inclined to follow a healthy diet if all menu items were as pretty (and well-lit!) as this wrap made of quinoa and collard greens.

Tea with Sophie
Because drinks are awesome and photogenic, too! This lavender-laced tea is from a recipe by Sophie Dahl — if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for us, too.
