Gossip Girl Wraps, Blair Waldorf Chops Her Hair
Huffington Post tweeted, “Goodbye, Blair Waldorf: Leighton Meester chops her hair off.” E! News added, “Leighton Meester Chops Off Her Hair—Do You Like?” Just Jared apparently does, tweeting, “Um @itsmeleighton chopped off her hair!!! And looking so fresh and pretty!! Glamour added, “Leighton Meester chopped off her hair! (She’s all edgy now!).”
As to what caused this major makeover, Lookbooker explains, “Leighton Meester bobbed her hair now that she’s out of her Gossip Girl contract. We love a good hair freedom story.” So do we! As for what’s most important, home-girl apparently feels the same way, as reported by US Weekly, who tweeted, ” #GossipGirl‘s @itsmeleighton says she loves her dramatic new haircut.” You go Blair! I mean Leighton.
Kanye and Karl: The Next Power Couple?
So the rumor goes, “Is @KarlLagerfeld really collaborating with @kanyewest? (British Vogue). “Are Karl Lagerfeld and Kanye West hatching fashionable plans?” (British Elle). According to The Cut, “Kanye West, Karl Lagerfeld talked ‘business over lunch’ at the Mercer Hotel.” A meeting that prompted the rest of the fashion world including the peeps at StyleCaster to speculate/tweet, “The New KK Power Couple: Kanye & Karl Lagerfeld #FancyMenWhoLunch.” So do you think Karl and Kanye discussed a possible fashion collabo, or where they just gossiping about everyone and everything? Hoping for the former, most probably the latter.
Speaking of Kanye, Marie Claire tweeted, “Our report on the @MMM_Official x H&M launch last night. Kanye was there! And his jacket was Margiela (…for @HM).” I mean was there ever any doubt that Kanye would fail to show up at an event where he could break into song and rap about one of his all-time favorite designers? Didn’t think so either.

While JT (Justin Timberlake for those of you who don’t know), is used to hogging all the attention, regardless of who is currently on his arm, this time around the former boy-band member took a back-seat to his wife’s wedding gown — I mean, it was Giambattista Valli couture. Yes that wedding gown — the one featured on the cover of People magazine.

As for the man of the hour? British Vogue tells us, “Giambattista Valli “couldn’t be more proud” that Jessica Biel asked him to design her wedding dress.”
