Party Night!
The night of celebrations kicked off with an A-lister cocktail party in the newly renovated building, with stylish celebrity guests including Jessica Alba, Camilla Belle (below right), and Amber and Yasmin Le Bon (below left). The Le Bons looked fittingly autumnal in matching mulberry tones, whereas Camilla dazzled in a mirror ball style dress, complete with a structured white coat to fight that cold London weather.
The Dinner
The house’s Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti (below), was naturally also in attendance to officially mark such a pivotal night for the brand. After cocktails, all 180 VIP guests headed downstairs in The Royal Burlington Arcades for a lavish dinner where 10,000 Ferragamo red roses, and 700 Christmas candles festively decorated the hall.
Ferragamo’s Risky London Move
The first Ferragamo boutiques were opened way back in 1938 in Florence, Rome, and London, and at that time, choosing to open in London was deemed a risky decision. 75 years later and their London presence is still going strong, which proves that it was not such a bad move after all.
