Rebecca Post, fashion buyer and the brains behind online vintage store Dorothy & Evelyn – www.dorothyandevelyn.com – has forever been interested in nurturing and assisting those on the hunt to create their own, personal sense of style.
So it comes as no surprise that upon announcing the launch of Dorothy & Evelyn’s flagship retail store in St. Kilda, Melbourne – which had its official opening last week – that once again, Rebecca has found yet another way to offer her customers a way to craft their own, one-of-a-kind look.
As well as stocking the vintage garments that Dorothy & Evelyn have become renowned for, the store offers pieces from other well-known labels, creating an irresistible meeting of fabulous vintage and seasonal brilliance from a selection of exclusive designers.
Rebecca was quick to explain her decision to stock addition labels in the flagship store to compliment Dorothy & Evelyn’s
continually growing range.
“As much as I adore vintage clothing, I know that I would never wear it from top to toe. I find that to get the most out of a vintage piece, you almost have to wear it as an accessory to compliment a new outfit,”
“So the idea behind Dorothy & Evelyn’s first store is to really make it almost like a one-stop-shop for people who are looking to create a look that is beautiful and modern while also giving it a cute, classic twist.” said Rebecca.
Just a few of the designer brands that will be stocked alongside Dorothy & Evelyn include:
• Indigo
• Olga Berg Bags
• Franka
• Minty Meets Munt
• Run Wild Horses Jewelry
• State of Georgia
• Ebony Eve
Dorothy & Evelyn’s flagship store is located at 159 – 160 Barkly Street, St. Kilda, Melbourne and is open now.
