Earlier last week, Time magazine asked what has been on everyone’s mind for quite some time: “Is fashion designer John Galliano staging a successful comeback?” If Oscar de la Renta has his way, then you can definitely count on it. Earlier last week, The Cut confirmed that de la Renta will be hosting the exhiled designer in his NY studio for three weeks. With a major fashion supporter like Oscar de la Renta at his side, things are finally starting to look up for Galliano. And he’s not the only one jumping on the Galliano bandwagon. Fashionologie tweeted, “‘We’ve always been admirers of his flamboyant talent.’ — Dolce and Gabbana on John Galliano.” But the question still remains: “Dolce & Gabbana ‘can’t wait’ to see Galliano’s comeback collection. Can you?” (British Elle). Now that’s an answer that only time and Twitterati will tell. 


Bring On the Cartwheels: Betsey Johnson is Showing at NYFW

Elle excitedly tweeted, “Confirmed:  WILL present at . Get ready for cartwheels!” The WSJ‘s Elizabeth Holmes added, “Email just now from  reps – her NYFW show is back ON. .” The brand who is recovering from bankruptcy and other financial losses had initially decided against showing. As for the change? Betsey tells British Vogue, “I just could not stay away from New York Fashion Week.” Let the cartwheeling commence, starting now. 


Twitterati SAG Edition: Everyone Hated Julianne Moore’s Chanel Haute Couture Gown

It’s always fun when stars use the red carpet as their own risk-taking venue. After all, no one wants to see the same boring thing over and over again. However, there is also a fine line between risks and disasters, and many have been known to cross it. Take Julianne Moore, for example. “Julianne Moore took the plunge in  Couture for last night’s .” Here comes the bad news: The Fug Girls tweeted, “The top of Julianne’s dress is SO TERRIBLE. SO TERRIBLE – J.” The Bag Snob added, “I can’t look. Closing my eyes. Julianne… somewhere, Tom is cringing right now. .” Ouch.
