It wasn't Chai bestie Phillip Lim generating most of the buzz at the Richard Chai Love show this morning, but rather the unexpected celebrity drop-ins Christina Ricci and Maggie Grace who attracted a swarm of photographers before the start of the restrained show.
Chai had been going in a more fashion-forward direction the past few seasons, but Fall 2013 showed a change with a more clean cut, conservative approach. Monochrome slip dresses, knee-length pencil skirts, boyfriend coats, slim-fit trousers, plaid separates, and military-inspired outerwear made up the mostly neutral and jewel-toned collection.
