Fresh from the London Catwalks of Vivianne Westwood and Jeremy Scott, model and part-time “it” girl Pixie Geldolf took to the stage at Milan’s famed Piazza Duomo for Costume National. A crowd of 10,000 looked on in awe.

This season, the young label wanted to bring fashion to the people directly. The striking line got down to business with a mix of sheer and metalic fabrics that brought life and spirit to the show.

It is in this intersection of opposites where the show takes off. Organic vs. metalic. Traditional sewing vs. radical design. Even the use of Pixie Geldolf amidst a sea of faceless models make these designs come through as the scrambled transmission of cosmonauts searching for life in other galaxies.
