Five Aussie Faces Killing it on the International Circuit
-
5. Hirschy Hirschfelder
We loved Hirschy as a 90s neon homage in LIFEwithBIRD's Spring 2013 campaign, and she's perfect for the strong silhouettes and minimal colour palette in Costume National's Resort 2014 collection.

4. April Tiplady
We’ve had our eye on April Tiplady since MBFWA, and were excited to see her as the heart-shaped face of two major Resort 2014 season lookbooks – that of Alexander McQueens’ McQ diffusion line, and Roberto Cavalli’s elaborately printed mainline. [frockwriter] also has her pegged for the SS14 circuit.

3. Catherine McNeil
Besides featuring in Prada’s Fall 2013 campaign alongside Freja Beha Erichsen, Fei Fei Sun and Christy Freakin’ Turlington, Catherine McNeil made her return to the Paris Couture runways for Christian Dior and Jean Paul Gaultier couture. Just don’t call it a comeback.

2. Nicole Pollard
Dior darling Nicole Pollard stayed firmly in Raf Simons’ line of sight this season. She closed Dior’s Resort 2014 collection and walked for the designer’s Fall 2013 Couture show in Paris with fellow Brisbanite Catherine McNeil. She also appeared on the Armani Privé Couture runway and walked for Calvin Klein Collection’s Resort 2014 collection.

1. Julia Nobis
If she did end up meeting her untimely end in Chanel’s creepy Pre-Fall 2013 short film, she’d at least be going out on a high note. Julia Nobis bagged four Resort 2014 lookbooks this season, clotheshorsing for Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, rag & bone and Reed Krakoff’s collections. She also walked for Chanel’s Fall 2013 Couture show in Paris.
