More playful looks came in the form of Alice McCall, who delivered the goods with youthful puff-shoulder rompers and quirky, colourful prints. It’s no wonder her eclectic, colourful aesthetic is garnering quite a response from stylists and fashionistas alike.

Another designer that everyone’s talking about, Michael Lo Sordo, also brought his A-game with long-line draping. In fact, the draping was so long that a model tripped over her cute little brogues, which was a little embarrassing for the poor girl.

There didn’t seem to be any other mishaps, though, unless you count Romance Was Born’s tinsel headwear as a downfall. The pieces resembling that of a Chinese New Year dragon steered us away from checking out the always show-stopping designs, which this season, were a little more bleak than we usually expect from this unique brand.

Other labels like Lover stuck to its signature aesthetic of modern femininity, pasting signature lacy styles onto moody blue hues. Ginger & Smart also stayed true to expectations, brightening up the mostly monochromatic runway with an amazing green print and snakeskin lace.
