The countdown for Topshop/Topman in Midtown has begun. In 24 hours, the retail behemoth will open its doors at 608 Fifth Avenue, adjacent to Rockefeller Center. The four-story shopping enclave is the second largest flagship store in the world, clocking in at 40,000 square feet. The first floor houses Topshop collections — Unique, Boutique — along with new trends, winter weather accessories and a beauty bar. On the second floor, you’ll find denim, outerwear, casual wear, knitwear and petites. If you take the elevator to the third floor, you can stock up on workwear and shoes. An added bonus? There are changing rooms on every level, 50 in total.
For the gentlemen, Topman is set up in the basement level. To fete the launch, 80 exclusive Topman premium pieces will be available for purchase only on Fifth Avenue. These items will live alongside Topman Design, Lux, LTD and designer collaborations, including an exclusive denim collar with Cone.
While you’re browsing, be sure to take advantage of the Topshop/Topman personal shopping service. A complimentary team of stylists will be on hand to dole out fashion advice as well as pin alterations in the comfort of a private dressing suite.
“I am very excited about the Fifth Avenue launch for Topshop and Topman, having looked for a location there for many years,” said Sir Philip Green, the CEO of Arcadia Group, parent company of Topshop, in an official statement. “We all look forward to welcoming many new customers to this prestigious New York shopping destination.”
Topshop/Topman will open at noon on November 5.
