Anna’s inspirations stemmed from strong visionary women like Armi Ratia, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi and Annika Rimala, wanting to “pay homage” to them in her design debut for the iconic brand.
It’s clear that Anna understands Marimekko’s design language and DNA, using strong, bold and lively garden-inspired and organic-archive prints on practical yet flattering sihlouettes which Anna believes “make you feel strong”.
