Melbourne-based sunglasses brand Quay Australia — worn by the likes of Cara Delevingne, Gwen Stefani, Gigi Hadid and Beyoncé — is about to enjoy the Kylie Jenner effect.

The eyewear brand has amassed a healthy following thanks to its Insta-worthy frames (like the octagon-shaped Kiss & Tells), quality lenses (100 percent UV protection? yes, please), affordable pricing (most pairs hover around $70) and, last but not least, its cool co-branded capsules (past collaborators include Too Faced Cosmetics and Jasmine Sanders). For its latest limited-edition collection, Quay roped social media sensation Kylie Jenner, who obviously knows a thing or two about collaborative design.

The #QuayxKylie collection will feature four attention-grabbing silhouettes: 2000s-reminiscent shields, narrow cat eyes (à la Adam Selman x Le Specs), sporty aviators and 70s-inspired geometric frames. Taking colorways into account, there will be a total of 11 sunglasses available. We know what you’re thinking. Don’t worry, this is no Rihanna x Dior situation. WWD reports that all four styles will cost between $75 and $80.

Kylie hasn’t posted any pictures of herself rocking the collab yet, although WWD reports that a #QuayxKylie social media campaign is forthcoming. It seems the reality star is still busy promoting her latest Kendall x Kylie sunglasses drop. Conflict of interest much?

it’s an LA ting

Stay tuned for photos of the sure-to-sell-out frames, and mark your calendars for July 11 — that’s when the oh-so-affordable sunnies hit quayaustralia.com and various retailers worldwide.
