There’s no question that Devon Windsor is currently one of the biggest names in high fashion. Not only has she walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show six years in a row, she’s strutted down countless runways for designers like Chanel, Christian Dior, Celine, Emilio Pucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney, Carolina Herrera, Fendi and Tom Ford, starred in E!’s Model Squad and has 1.4 million Instagram followers and counting. The 24-year-old also has a fairy-tale engagement under her belt. Besides killing it in her industry and personal life, she’s also likable to boot. Below, the Missouri-born, 5’11” model with a love of baking and goldendoodles answers our quickfire questions.
- The first thing I do in the morning is… check my phone for messages and go through my social media accounts.
- The last thing I googled was… mini goldendoodle breeders.
- If my days had one extra hour… I’d bake something like a cake or cookies.
- The best beauty advice I ever received was… to never sleep in your makeup and keep your skin ultra moisturized even if you’re breaking out.
- My desert island beauty product is… sunscreen!!!
- When it comes to my wedding… I want all my closest family and friends together for a full weekend of fun in the sun.
- When I’m stressed… I work out, eat my favorite food or take a nap.
- When my self-confidence has taken a hit… I surround myself with my friends/fiancé and keep myself busy.
- My guilty pleasure is… cookie dough!
- My most memorable career highlight was… either my first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show or walking my first big high fashion show, which was Prada.
- When it comes to working out… I like to mix it up and do a lot of body weight exercises to stay lean and strong.
- A career achievement I’m dying to check off is… getting a major beauty contract.
- If you looked at my desktop you’d see… recipes I love and my vlogs!
- My most memorable travel experience was… heading to Namibia for a super exciting shoot that hasn’t come out yet!
- I’m dying to splurge on… more winter boots.
- One thing people don’t realize about the fashion industry is… it’s not a low-stress or easy industry to work in. It’s always changing and growing and there are always challenges you face as a model/photographer/brand/
stylist. - My favorite place to shop is… Barneys when there is a sale.
- The best advice for looking great in a photo is… good lighting!!! Avoid overhead lighting at all costs!
- My most treasured possession is… my engagement ring.
- My biggest fashion regret is… no regrets!
- One thing I wish people knew about me is… that I am actually extremely shy, but the second I get to know someone you can’t shut me up! Ha ha.
