Top 11 Models of Fashion Month Fall 2019

What a difference a few weeks make. While almost all of the top 10 models of New York Fashion Week Fall 2019 were women of color, sadly, the same didn’t hold true when we factored in London, Milan and Paris. Actually, it was almost the complete opposite.

There were just four nonwhite models…

11. He Cong (IMG): 30 Shows

The Chinese stunner kept the momentum going after New York. She popped up at Mary Katrantzou, Erdem, Victoria Beckham and closed Burberry in London. While in Milan, she walked for Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Etro and Missoni among others. And finally, in Paris, she strutted for Christian Dior, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Nina Ricci, Lacoste, Altuzarra and Giambattista Valli.

10. Blésnya Minher (The Society): 30 Shows

Blésnya Minher had a jam-packed Fall 2019 schedule. She walked for Prabal Gurung, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Coach 1941 and more in New York. In London, she hit the runways of JW Anderson and Mary Katrantzou. Milan saw her strut for Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Sportmax, Tod’s, Jil Sander and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. She opened Chloe in Paris plus closed Altuzarra and was spotted at more Paris shows, like Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton and Valentino.

9. Lara Mullen (DNA): 31 Shows

Lara Mullen also kept pretty busy during fashion month. In New York, she represented Gabriela Hearst, Helmut Lang, Philipp Plein and opened Proenza Schouler. Lara went on to open Molly Goddard and close Preen by Thornton Bregazzi over in London (plus walked for a few others). She appeared at Fendi, N°21, Max Mara, Prada, Versace and Missoni in Milan. Haider Ackermann, Off-White, Dries Van Noten, Christian Dior, Givenchy and Chloe (which she closed) were just a handful of the shows she walked in Paris.

8. Felice Noordhoff (Women): 32 Shows

Felice Noordhoff closed Carolina Herrera in New York in addition to walking for the likes of Michael Kors Collection, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford and others. The Netherlands native opened Blumarine in Milan and was spotted at Alberta Ferretti, Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Etro, Moschino and more. And Felice took part in Chanel, Chloe, Isabel Marant, Hermes, Nina Ricci, Lacoste and Altuzarra in the City of Light.

7. Fran Summers (Ford): 32 Shows

Fran Summers was a closing machine during fashion month. The British model shut down Victoria Beckham, Etro and Valentino. Coach 1941, Anna Sui, Proenza Schouler, Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fendi, Simone Rocha, JW Anderson, Chloe, Paco Rabanne, Isabel Marant, Off-White, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen and Chanel were just some of the other new entries on her runway résumé.

6. Sora Choi (Ford): 33 Shows

The South Korean runway and street style star walked in some of the biggest shows this season. From Prabal Gurung, Sies Marjan, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch and more in the Big Apple to Christian Dior, Dries Van Noten, Loewe, Saint Laurent and others in Paris, Sora Choi was a popular pick. She also popped up at Burberry in London and Prada, Max Mara, Versace, etc. in Milan.

5. Rebecca Longendyke (Women): 34 Shows

All-American beauty Rebecca Longendyke skipped London Fashion Week, but still managed to snag a spot on our countdown. Pretty impressive, right? She kicked things off in New York by opening Khaite and walking for Coach 1941, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford and Michael Kors Collection plus a few more. In Milan, it was Alberta Ferretti, Prada, Etro, Bottega Veneta ... we could go on. Then there was Christian Dior, Lanvin, Chloe, Loewe, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Sacai and more in Paris.

4. Cyrielle Lalande (Wilhelmina): 35 Shows

The French beauty appeared in our top 10 for New York since she opened the Coach 1941 show and hit the runways of Jeremy Scott, Helmut Lang, Tory Burch and 3.1 Phillip Lim among others. She stayed busy in London with Simone Rocha, JW Anderson, Victoria Beckham, Christopher Kane plus a few more. Missoni, Prada, Versace, Sportmax, Bottega Veneta and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini rounded out Milan. And she closed Paco Rabanne in Paris and strutted her stuff for Dries Van Noten, Christian Dior, Valentino, Givenchy, Loewe and others.

3. Hyun Ji Shin (IMG): 36 Shows

Another New York top 10 holdover, Hyun Ji Shin earned that spot by walking for the likes of Sies Marjan, Anna Sui, Michael Kors Collection and Proenza Schouler. The former winner of Korea’s Next Top Model continued her streak over in London with JW Anderson, Christopher Kane and Victoria Beckham. In Milan, Alberta Ferretti, Fendi, Versace and Jil Sander were just a few of her conquests. And she matched her New York tally in Paris by representing 12 brands, including Chanel, Rochas, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton.

2. Sarah Dahl (Women): 37 Shows

Sarah Dahl kick-started fashion month by adding 10 shows to her tally in New York, including Proenza Schouler, Longchamp, Tom Ford, Tory Burch and Carolina Herrera. She walked for JW Anderson, Ports 1961 and Victoria Beckham in London, while Milan saw her strut for Roberto Cavalli, Etro, Fendi, Missoni and more. Sarah opened two shows in Paris (Hermes and Altuzarra), plus hit the runways of Christian Dior, Chloe, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Chanel and others.

1. Giselle Norman (Women): 37 Shows

British model Giselle Norman came out on top for Fall 2019. That’s because she racked up the runway miles at Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors Collection, Boss and more in New York; closed Mary Katrantzou and walked for JW Anderson, Simone Rocha, Ports 1961, Molly Goddard and Victoria Beckham in London; closed Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini in Milan, plus popped up at Alberta Ferretti, Fendi, Moschino, Versace and others and opened Nina Ricci in Paris (where she also rocked the runways of Christian Dior, Chloe, Paco Rabanne, Off-White, Loewe, Chanel, Stella McCartney, etc.).
