We tend to hear bad news along with good news when it comes to runway diversity. (Just take a look at any of our Diversity Reports .) This season, the top models list is no exception. That’s because while a woman of color tops the list of top models for Fashion Month Fall 2020, only four women of color (top model included) earned a spot.
Did any top models from New York make the cut?
Several models from our top models of New York Fall 2020 countdown popped back up, as expected. Sora Choi, Lara Mullen, Cyrielle Lalande, Josefine Lynderup, Yilan Hua and Hannah Motler all reappeared.
Are there any new faces?
There are a few fresh faces to the top models of Fall 2020 list. Rachel Marx racked up lots of runway miles in all four fashion capitals . Netherlands native Felice Noordhoff only walked for Burberry in London, but killed it everywhere else. After this season, Chinese beauty Tang He’s runway résumé is looking pretty tight. And Achenrin Madit came out of nowhere to dominate the field.
Now that your curiosity is piqued, check out the slideshow above to see which models are on the top models list. You’ll definitely be (pleasantly) surprised.
