Another month, another chance to see glossies get creative when it comes to producing covers. For October 2020, we are treated to illustrated images and actual photoshoots. Not to mention plenty of great fall fashion. (We’re choosing to ignore British Vogue’s 80s prom dress and Vogue Paris’ snow bunny gear.)
On our must-buy list this season? Quilted coats along with some fantastic fringed items. The style is especially stellar. The beauty, on the other hand, is more hit or miss. Selena Gomez’s ode to Frida Kahlo and Cynthia Erivo’s matching lilac shadow are definitely wins. The hairdos on Vogue Germany and British Vogue belong firmly in the miss column.
See the slideshow above for the best and worst October 2020 covers. Here’s hoping November gives us more diversity and more fall-appropriate outfit ideas.
