Spring has sprung. Although you wouldn’t know it based on the April 2022 magazine covers. The majority of the styling screams more fall than spring. Even though lots of looks come in vibrant shades.
On the other hand, the beauty looks are pretty great. From soft peach tones to seasonally-appropriate red lips. Not surprisingly, there are several no-makeup makeup looks. (Expect even more come summer.) Tousled locks are also popular. Although in some cases they lean more messy than bedhead.
There’s a decent amount of diversity. Precious Lee once again gives us amazing covers, this time for ELLE. Yumi Nu graces Vogue Japan flaunting ruffles and an eye-catching hairdo. Zoë Kravitz delivers another stunning cover as only she can. While we’re not fans of the end result, we love that Vogue Greece picked Carla Bruni and Helena Christensen as its cover stars.
The amount of text really can make or break a cover. Repeat offender Cosmopolitan supplied the most with its U.K. edition swimming in cover lines. On the other end of the spectrum, ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar Russia take a more minimal route.
