All the June 2022 Magazine Covers We Loved and Hated

The June 2022 magazine covers are certainly a mixed bag. You’ve got the obvious summer issues as well as more seasonally-challenged editions. (Several covers look like they’re a better fit for fall.) Which is even more interesting if you consider the fact that many of them are double June 2022/July 2022 offerings. While we expected to see lots and lots of swimsuits and sundresses, that isn’t the case. From hefty coats to red carpet-worthy gowns, the styling doesn’t exactly scream summer. In fact, it shouts September since that’s when the big fashion issues come out. On the beauty front, hair takes center stage. Gisele Bündchen’s big, bouncy, beautiful curls are #hairgoals. There are also blunt bobs with equally blunt bangs, grown-up pigtails and soaked strands. Diversity is definitely lacking this month. Chlöe Bailey and Doja Cat cover Allure and ELLE, respectively. And Japanese-Brazilian model Maryel Uchida appears on Vogue Japan orb in hand. That’s pretty much it. We can only hope July 2022 and August 2022 are different. We’re even crossing our fingers.
