The actress tempered the lightness of the frock with a black chain belt, black Christian Louboutin sandals, a gold Rodo box clutch and an autumnal lip.
Jessica Chastain made an entrance on the Late Show with David Letterman in a white jumpsuit by Temperley London. An unexpected choice both for the actress’ personal style and for the season, she nonetheless made this perfectly-tailored, retro piece look fabulous.
Julianne Hough paid no attention to the rules when she chose a sheer, sleeveless dress with a tropical flowered lace pattern by Self-Portrait, while promoting Samsung in Hollywood. Nude Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps revealing a peachy pedicure and glowing makeup bucked the seasonal trends even further.
Kate Bosworth dazzled at the Hammer Museum Gala in the Garden, looking glamorous in a white Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown. She only added more sparkle to the backless, single-sleeve look with dripping Piaget diamond earrings.
Hilary Swank could’ve passed for a blushing bride in the Nicholas Oakwell Couture dress she wore to the You’re Not You premiere. The strapless white look bloomed with all-over floral appliqués, while chrome Gianvito Rossi pumps and a box clutch added edge to the ultra-feminine look.
Halle Berry ignored fall weather in New York City when she attended the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in a sporty white Michael Kors dress with summery cut-outs at the waist. Though the only nods to the season were the dress’ tonal accents and Halle’s pointy black pumps, the actress nevertheless worked this against-the-rules look.
The name of the event was the PSLA Autumn Party, but Gwyneth Paltrow was giving off endless summer vibes in a white hot Versace number with a micro-mini wrap skirt and strappy sandals. The actress’ golden locks and impressive tan (no doubt enhanced by the stark whiteness of her dress) added to the out-of-season effect. The result, however, was positively glowing.
