Cate stepped out in bright stripes for the film, in which she plays the evil stepmother, but the mix of home-grown celebs opted for majestic femininity in shimmering whites, lace detailing or shapely silhouettes.

Cate looked to a Pre-Fall 2015 Roksanda midi dress for the blue carpet, stepping away from all the green hues she wears throughout Cinderella. “I wore a lot of green in the film. I called the one I wore at the ball ‘the gherkin’,” she said at the premiere.
Celebrity stylist Jules Sebastian wore the “Cinderella Kindness Dress” made by One Day Bridal, which had quotes from Disney’s social media fans written all over it. She finished the look with diamond-encrusted heels from The Doll House.
Fashion blogger and model Nikki Phillips went for a strapless Ministry of Style jumpsuit featuring a lace bodice, teamed with a red Valentino clutch and Aquazzura heels.
Television presenter Teigan Nash was ready for the royal ball in a textured Carla Zampatti gown in navy blue, teamed with nude pointed-toe shoes.
