It’s good to be in New York. Last night, a starry list of A-listers descended upon the Park Avenue Armory where Karl Lagerfeld reprised Chanel’s Paris-Salzburg Métiers d’Arts 2015 show. The original debut took place in early December in Austria’s Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron, a sprawling historic palace made famous by its appearance in The Sound of Music. The same clothes were on display, and the same models, for the most part. What trumped Austria’s show is, quite frankly, the crowd. Beyoncé showed up this time. So did Patti Smith, Julianne Moore, Dakota Johnson and Vanessa Paradis, accompanied by her teenage daughter, Lily-Rose Depp. And then there was the after-party, which included a five-song set by Pharrell Williams with a surprise “performance” by Cara Delevingne. How can you beat that?
