Touted as the kickoff to New York Fashion Week, the theme of this season’s amfAR New York Gala was definitely Versace. Not only did the label’s leader make an appearance as an honoree (in a slinky rose gold gown, natch), but it seemed like a majority of the models and celebrities in attendance were rocking something from the Italian brand. Black and white were well represented, while shades of orange/peach and pink all found footing. Models sure do love the see-through trend and several catwalkers strutted their stuff down the gray carpet in shockingly sheer attire. Here are the 17 looks from last night’s gala that you must see to believe.
