Yesterday, to coincide with International Women’s Day, the organizers of the Women’s March staged their #ADayWithoutAWoman demonstration. All over the globe, protesters took to the streets to voice their opposition to recent attacks on women’s rights. Masses of women went on strike, abstaining from work and spending, highlighting their importance to the global economy. Others, unable to take the day off, wore red in sisterly solidarity. Anne Hathaway spoke at the U.N., advocating for equal paid paternal leave. Jessica Chastain took a break from her Zookeeper’s Wife press tour, joining a local women’s rights rally in Warsaw, Poland. Lily-Rose Depp and Karlie Kloss took to social media to thank the women who inspire them daily. Scroll down to see how your favorite models, actresses, designers and comedians celebrated the girl power-infused day.
