While New York Fashion Week is in full swing, it’s probably a little too early to start honing in on trends. But there was a clear trend over at the annual Venice International Film Festival: feathers. A lot of attendees flocked to feathers, whether as simple accents or all-over plumage. Sheer paneling (sometimes layered) and floral appliqués were also popular. Superstars Jennifer Lawrence, George and Amal Clooney, Julianne Moore, Kirsten Dunst and Penélope Cruz shined bright, but the style standout of the festival was Rebecca Hall. The British actress served on the jury and impressed time and time again in stunning gowns that ranged from structured couture to Grecian goddess to Old Hollywood bombshell.
Check out the slideshow above for all the fashion highlights from the festival.
