At any rate, this painfully blunt self-help guide (not surprisingly inspired by a line from the show Sex and the City) finally put a stop to all the dating BS us single ladies go through and “set women free”—in other words, it engraved in our heads that if he’s not picking up the phone to call or just can’t seem to commit, then he legitimately just isn’t that into you. No, his cat DIDN’T die (because he definitely doesn’t have one) and yes, he DOES get cell reception, he just doesn’t want to talk to you. Plain and simple.
So where are we going with all this? Well, He’s Just Not That Into You may have taught us how to recognize the telltale signs of a man’s waning interest and divulged a little relationship secret or two that most men find far too intimidating to share, but what it didn’t do was tell us what guys actually think about our outward appearance. And no, I don’t mean genetics. What I’m talking about is the manner in which we dress and the way we style our hair, the makeup we wear, and the shoes we lust after. Even the amount of time it takes for us to get this ridiculously good looking every morning!
Because haven’t you ever wondered—what’s that one little thing guy’s just AREN’T that into but we can’t get enough of? We’ll give you one hint: it’s definitely not your barely there little black dress.
