Of course, it isn’t fashion without a public scandal but so far they have been G- rated. Literally hours before Fashion Week began, a new law was enforced that models must be 16 years or older to partake on the viscous catwalk. Organizers were forced to ditch plans to bring out 14-year-old Polish model Monika Jagaciak. Insert Micha Barton who was the decoy to distract from further scandal and properly placed in the front row spotlight.

Fashion Show Review:
The Johnston show was the first to launch off Australian fashion week and received mixed reviews. The models wore slicked back braded buns draped with turbon-esque type scarves accompanied by goggle-like sunglasses. Their thin jersey smock dresses were cut loosely to skim the torso then released into asymmetric hemlines over narrow, stirrup leggings, remember those? The colors were neutrals: blacks, greys, whites and meant for some serious travel as they were accessorized by gold walking sticks.
