If you're located on America's East Coast or Midwest (or are a follower of Twitter users based there), you'd know that it's downright frigid outside. We have folks in Chicago and New York complaining about having to go outside, while Montreal residents are fighting to stay sane with negative degrees. Hopefully you're cozied up under hundreds of blankets and snuggies in front of a roaring fire, or sympathizing with the folks facing the very real prospect of their words freezing mid-air.
Of course, we know it's possible to still look chic when amid a tundra, but we just needed a little inspiration to help dig our wardrobes out of deep freeze. What'd we find? Plenty of layering, cool accessories and lots of wearable stay-warm suggestions.
So Pinteresting: It's Cold
-
Basic Bundle
You don't need fancy bells and whistles to look great when it's cold, so proves this stylish lady.
-
Fuzzy Leanings
But a cool stand-out sweater and rad, floppy hat does go a long way in the looks department.

Arctic Power
This gal proves that piling on every cold-weather thing you own is sometimes a good look.
-
Borrow From This Dude
We are totally digging this fella's cold-weather look: tonal dressing, look-at-me brooches and a slick topper. Steal it for yourself!
-
Kinda-Couture Crewneck
Crewneck sweatshirts have been gaining a lot of traction lately, and we can't imagine a better one than this logo-emblazoned one.
-
Wacky but Warm
This pin proves that going totally, awesomely out-there can be a good look, too. We love that the colors don't match but also kind of do.
-
Because Tights Are Fun
Tights are a necessity if you like skirts in the winter, but for some crazy reason we never thought to coordinate them so well with our overall outfit.
-
Sweet Novelty
To relieve wool-induced boredom, grab sweaters with a bit of fun knitted in. We'd wear this sweet sweater for Valentine's Day and beyond.
-
Bold in Blue
Bright colors are still so unexpected for winter and it brings about a kind of Cookie Monster quality, don't you think?
-
End With Accessories
Last but not least! Mittens are so important and when there are plenty of fun options out there, why go basic?
