Kate Young for Target
Kate Young was an interesting choice for Target, as she's traditionally been more of a curator than a designer. She made a name for herself as a Vogue editor and then became a stylist, so while she may still be cutting her design teeth, we can certainly trust her taste level. For Target, she wanted to focus on special occasion dressing so you can expect lots of affordable baubles and bags and shoes for a night out. The box clutch shown is $30.

Candela NYC
Candela has been around for a while, but it's more recent that the ready-to-wear brand ventured into footwear. The truly international model-turned-designer Gabriela Perezutti brings a global aesthetic to her New York-based line. Her footwear is both innovative and of the moment, we especially love the Jon Snow (Game of Thrones inspired?) pointy-toe flat with a trio of straps and adjustable ankle strap, $230.

Luv Aj for Baublebar
Another diffusion line we're excited about is Luv Aj for BaubleBar. With tough pieces like the $48 Pierced Plate Collar shown, this line is right on trend at just the right price. Designer Amanda Thomas was interning for another jewelry designer when her line was picked up by Fred Segal. Her line for BaubleBar (always a great source for affordable accessories) is inspired by piercings.

Camille Zarsky
This line of python bags and accessories may venture outside the affordable range with bags in the thousands of dollars, but her genuine python pouches and cuffs are all under $250. The Jumbo Flat Cuff in Sunset Genuine Python shown is $145. Part of the reason she can make snakeskin affordable is due to Florida's python overpopulation problem. That's right! According to some reports, Florida is like a scene out of a horror film with pythons breeding wildly. And because it is not their natural habitat, they are harming other animals and are a threat to humans, even PETA approves finding humane ways to remove the invasive species. With a supply readily available and designers being encouraged to use the skin, expect an influx of python which should drive the price down a bit.

Moda Operandi Exclusive Punk Collection
With the upcoming Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit at The Met, there's no denying punk-inspired fashion is having a moment. With that in mind, Moda Operandi is releasing an exclusive punk collection on May 2 (we'll have a press preview of The Met exhibit on May 6). While the line, with pieces designed by Prabal Gurung, Thom Brown, Preen, Givenchy and Vivienne Westwood will have price tags up to $13,000, some piece will start as low as $100 so we can all get a piece of punk. It was really hard to choose just one product to feature from home decor designer Jonathan Adler's "happy chic" line of fashion accessories, all under $500. Preppy beach-combers will love his sunglass cases, sun hats and jute pouches but since the man has a flair for fabric, we chose to spotlight one of his gorgeous pareos. The cotton and silk blend multi waves pareo is $98.

Organic Peroxide is a SoCal beach lifestyle-inspired brand on its second collection handmade in New York City. The collection includes a lot of trendy items for your summer arm party like this Spacerock Galaxy Double Wrap Bracelet, $150, that can also be worn as a necklace. The line has gotten a lot of press in Nylon Magazine (unsurprising since it's sold in its Nylon Shop) and on celebrities like Drew Barrymore and Selena Gomez.
