"I'm prepping for my flight out to Sedona tomorrow (vacation!), so I'm carrying my trusty Ibiza Flight Tote today while I get all my last-minute shopping and packing finished up. The rundown on what's in my bag: My favorite pair of TOMS, lunch container that held an insanely delicious lamb burger that Ben, my husband, made for me this morning, moleskine notebook, new fave HH clutch wallet in silver iridescent, toothpaste restock, American Spirits (don't judge…), headphones for the flight, Josie Maran Be Loved hand cream (obsessed), an assortment of my favorite Le Labo perfumes in sample sizes for travel…I like to mix it up on the go, flash drive, rubber eraser, my favorite Ray Ban 'Meteor' sunnies…planning on getting these in black. They're so perfect. I also have my ever-present pack of Orbit peppermint gum, keys, my YMCA pass card and NARS 'Stella' lipgloss."

"Since I work in the luxury vintage market, I never leave the house without my favorite accessories. My favorite carry-all is a Vintage Hermès ''Sac à Dépçeche' in Blue and in it you'll find all the essentials: a card holder, a coin purse, car keys, iPhone and sunglasses. I'm always on the go, so I always carry an emergency handkerchief and tie to help dress up any casual outfit on the spot should an important meeting pop up that I didn't anticipate."

“Since I am often on the go between operating room and house calls, I rely on my doctor's bag to be about, like plastic surgery, form and function. It's filled with tools of my trade that help keep me on the cutting edge of beauty-- whether in my office or at a social event."

"My best friend Julie Lasano gave me a beautiful Tod's bag, which I've been wearing. In it I have Vogue, my iPhone (never without it, I am always working or Instagramming — addicted), Ray Bans, which are my sunglasses of choice because they’re simple, easy and can take a beating, as they are usually tossed in my bag with no case, my iPad (I’m always checking WWD or on Spotify to keep the studio filled with music. I also have Ceramic Cigarette Butts - random, but I just came back from our production house uptown in NYC. These charms are part of my collection for FW13 – it is based on excess and bad habits: donuts, champagne, pills and worst of all, cigarettes. I picked up the blue embroidered bag in Mexico years ago when I worked for Carolina Herrera; it holds pens, sharpies, highlighters and other items and essentials, depending on the day. I love the Yes To line so I have a bunch of their all-natural skin savers along with notebooks, drafting pencils and some top secret charms I just picked up! Lastly I always keep a necklace in my bag, this one is my "After Midnight" necklace from my PF13 collection. I have to represent what I do!"

"I love my new crossbody Marc Jacobs bag because it’s super lightweight and great for when I have to travel for work. Plus it’s on the smaller side, so it makes me carry less! I try to limit what I’m carrying to the basics, which obviously includes two different types of lip gloss and two different hand lotions!"

"I keep my Etro handbag stocked with the bare essentials: Longchamp wallet, Oliver People's sunglasses, Fresh lipstick, Philosophy hand lotion, Shiseido powder, Blackberry, and a memory stick, just in case!"

“I have an iPad, which I use for all of my presentations, my Blackberry — allows me to work all the time (yikes) – Hourglass Rouge, Cle de Peau concealer, Saphir Concentrate, Emergen C, Rosebud Strawberry Lip balm, Armani eye shadow, Sjal samples, Peter Rabbit Organics (beloved snack for my little boy), Persol black shades and good luck stones (rose quartz for love and amethyst for healing)."

“I'm constantly on the go so my purse always has to have all the essentials: keys, iPhone, wallet, makeup and a great piece of statement jewelry. My new Tamu Shoulder bag is amazing because it fits my iPad mini and Notebook and I can throw it on cross-body then head out the door with our mascot (and my dog!) Ollie.”

Niv Zinder
Personal and group fitness instructor
"I got this Under Armour bag last week as a birthday gift from my best friend and I'm totally obsessed. As a group and personal trainer I always carry workout gear with me namely TRX and a booty band. In addition, having my laptop with me is a must because I have all my workout programs and my playlists on it. I also carry extra workout clothes in case I need to change and a travel bag with Kiehl's face wash, Dove deodorant and Clarins moisturizer. My Oakley sunglasses and Beats headphones are also always on me. Lastly, my credit cards holder and my business cards."
-
Lizanne Falsetto
Founder and CEO, thinkThin
"I try to keep my bag contents down to a roaring minimum, but there are some things that I just cannot go without. After the practical elements, the keys, wallet, sunglasses etc., I have a few treasures that I try to keep with me at all times; my thinkThin bar of choice (I never go anywhere without one), hydrating cream, loose powder, lipgloss and my go-to luxury Jo Malone scent. I feel dressed and ready for anything with Jo Malone. I love it!"

"My bag has my iPad, my legal pad with notes, my laptop, FTF.com coupons for our trendy plus size fashion site and stores and of course my FTF lanyard badge for when I'm on the store floor. Oh and Wired, New Yorker, GQ and Stores magazines. And tons of chargers for my devices!"

"I love my Will Leather Goods bag—I got it a few years ago and it has held strong through lots of wear and tear! I don't like to carry too much with me since I'm always on the go, but I always have a Justin's Peanut Butter with me just in case — their chocolate almond butter is my favorite. Hand sanitizer is a must, especially post-NYC transit and of course I always carry business cards with me because you never know who you'll meet out and about and I always want to be prepared."

Christina Tosi
Chef/owner and founder, Momofuku Milk Bar
"This bag is special, it holds everything and has so many compartments (the key!). I keep my laptop on one side and magazines/files on the other. I also have sunglasses in a cute KENZO pouch; one compartment holds my flashlight, thermometer, measuring tape (the triumvirate of MUST HAVES for any small business owner in the food world) I also have my Food Protection certificate and a headscarf just in case I have to run into one of the Momofuku restaurants to meet a Health Inspector. I keep a pouch with all my electric needs: a wall charger, a car charger, and plug-ins for my iPhone, iPad and laptop charger, earphones and HDMI cord. I'm a dork, but you just never know what you need. I keep a compartment full of drink options — always plenty of teas to choose from and Emergen-C. Another compartment is dedicated to pens, eyeliner, sharpies, highlighters lipstick and a stick sunscreen. Another compartment is for fancy stuff — jewelry I'll need to throw on if I go out right after work so I can fancy up whatever I stumbled into earlier that morning in the way of outfits."

"I just got this bag as a gift and I can't stop wearing it — it's such a happy pink color and with all the rain we've had lately in NYC it's perfect because it's rubber! It's kind of fun because it looks like a Bottega, but it's from a little store in Palm Beach.
Love my wallet which was a gift from my hubby... Purell — I am a bit of a germaphobe and I have twin four-year-old boys... I'm trying to remember to put sunscreen on my face every day and I just got this new Chanel UV Essentiel SPF 50, which is great. The staffordshire enamel pillbox is special because it's from an old friend — I keep Advil in it. I always use a clip or something to throw my hair up — this ones from Zitomer's and I love the mini purse size atomizers from Frederic Malle. The sunglasses are from Joe Fresh; I'm obsessed with them and love the size of the case because it's not enormous like most are these days. I also conveniently keep my metrocard in it so I don't have to go digging!"

“My purse is vintage Salvatore Ferragamo. I found it for next to nothing at a vintage store in south Austin. In it I have: L.I.F.E. Jacket— forget the single-use coffee sleeves—this one is reusable and handmade by women in Kenya! Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream, Juiceland stamp card, various matchbooks, a hair tie, Tom’s Toothpaste, Vega Sport bar, a bouncy ball, Mongo Kiss lip balm, Joinery business card (a neat store that I found on my last trip to Brooklyn. I wanted to buy everything!), and Emergen-C benefiting Whole Planet Foundation.”

"I carry just about everything I have in my beauty cabinet in my purse, travel-sized. Everyone who knows me, knows I always have Vaseline! It is my go-to product for dry skin, chapped lips, or for a dewy makeup look. I always have a few lip colors (NARS and Bobbi Brown are my favorites) to chose from so that I can freshen up and change my look in a second. I firmly believe a change of lip color can change your whole look and attitude. I have a pair of sunglasses on hand at all times, even on rainy days, and today I'm carrying my latest favorite pair from SHAUNS. A deodorant wipe, stain remover, roll on perfume, floss and a mini toothbrush are some of the other fun travel-sized products I always keep stashed away in my purse. I'm always on the go, so I must be prepared for any adventures that are thrown my way!"

Personal trainer and instructor, SLT
"Since I'm always on the go, my bag is always full of travel sized products. I usually have a water bottle and a Kind Bar in my bag (I ate the bar before I took the picture!). I always carry a facial wash with me to use after I get all sweaty from working out or teaching. I also carry glo therapeutics facial hydrating serum for after I wash my face. I love it because it's a serum so it won't clog my pores like a regular moisturizer. In the summer I also carry a sunscreen wipe for my face. I never know when I'll have a casting or meeting or something that requires me to not look like a sweaty mess, so I make sure I have my basic makeup needs at all time...eyelash curler, mascara, bronzer, brush, lip balm and lipstick. iPod nano, multiple hair ties, mini deodorant, mini body spray, mini hand sanitizer and a bag of Halls are all necessities as a fitness instructor! I usually have my salsa shoes with me...especially in the summer when there is always some kind of festivity that involves salsa dancing! And last but not least, booty bands because you never know when you're going to need a last minute booty pump!"

"I always carry my passport with me since travel is my business and I never know when I am going to have to hop on a plane at a moment's notice. I am fully addicted to medicated Chapstick so I always have at least one in each bag at all times, but of course for meetings and events, lip gloss is a necessity. I am always running around and skipping meals so it's important I have a snack if I cannot stop for lunch. A chic business card case as it is the first thing people see when you give your card out. Sunglasses are a must must! I also love to keep jewelry handy as well as a makeup bag that can double as a clutch. Tic Tacs, hand lotion, hair ties, nail polish, travel size makeup removers, and an emory board are all necessities. Finally, a notebook!"

“The Brooklyn Foldover in Camel is my go-to bag because it goes so well from day to night. In it I have Ray Ban shades, 'Ciao' iPhone case to remind me of Italy, Chapstick is a must have, lip gloss when I want to get dolled up, credit card pouch and pencil pouch that hold pens."

“On July 20, we will be bringing The MoonWalk, an overnight marathon where participants will power walk in brightly decorated bras to raise awareness for breast cancer and money for Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Breast Examination Center in Harlem, to NYC for the first time. Because training is so important, I always keep a few exercising essentials in my bag, including a spare Maidenform bra for comfort, a bottle of Balance water to hydrate, a couple of KIND bars to keep my energy up and a fitbit zip to track my steps – plus some organic, natural makeup to freshen up my look.”
-
Rebecca Masson
Vice President of marketing and education, Sisley Cosmetics
“In my bag I have sunglasses and Sunleÿa Sunscreen Cream SPF 50+, my Blackberry, a silk scarf (I can’t understand why American women don’t wear them as much as Europeans), sugar free candies, Sisleya Global Anti-Aging Hand Care – it has SPF 15 to protect my hands while I drive, but mostly it just keeps my hands incredibly soft, and the Rubik’s cube is for my ten year old and I usually have at least one small toy in there to keep either kid entertained at a grocery store, restaurant…”
-
Shaun Paterson
CEO, SHAUNS Eyewear
“My bag is a beat up old Belstaff bag I bought in London. It’s a great size and it doesn't feel too metrosexual. I keep a pair of board shorts in my bag at the moment. My trip home from work takes me right along the Pacific and sometimes it's too inviting to ignore. I'm not a huge technology lover, but I am incredibly reliant on my iPhone. I also keep biz Cards, wallet, key wallet and passport. All my small leather goods were given to me as gifts, so I have an eclectic mix and switch them out quite a lot. I like to take a pen and paper with me wherever I go. I understand things best when I can 'diagram' them out. In the center is what I currently have in my bag eyewear wise. I obviously rotate all the time, but generally I like to have an optical frame, a more casual sun, a more tailored sun and often a prototype I'm testing/experimenting with.”

"As a designer I am always researching products and ideas for the next collection. For me, a tape measure is essential to my research; I always have it on hand in my newest creation, the Gellar satchel. When on the go between my manufacturer, suppliers and clients in New York City, I also like to keep a fresh face, so lip balm, eye cream and eye liner are essential for me to have on-hand. And of course, for when I want to break up my day with a bit of fun, some candy to keep me going is another must!"
-
Holly Hendricks
Instructor, Physique 57 NYC
"In my bag I keep an umbrella, because it's NYC and you just never know! My Marc by Marc Jacobs wallet, my mini aluminum Amphipod water bottle (it's the perfect size for carrying around all day and the neoprene skin keeps the bottle condensation off of the other things in my bag), my iPad Mini, a zippable pouch full of everything from lip balm (Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment), a fragrance rollerball (Daisy by Marc Jacobs) and cuticle cream (Burts Bee's Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream) to deodorant, headbands (Sparkly Soul - my favorite to wear while at the barre!) and other post workout necessities, Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve, workout clothes and my Blake Brody in-studio footwear! I have to make sure I'm ready to take class, even on my days off from teaching. I also have Ginger chews and Burts Bee's Honey & Pomegranate Throat Drops — post teaching, these are the best aides to soothing a tired voice — my Tom Ford sunglasses, iPhone and headphones are also in there."
-
Kristina Hanna
Instructor, Physique 57 NYC
"My bag has a spare set of workout clothes and barre socks, compact wallet and metrocard, The Economist, my iPhone and headphones so I can listen to music and get playlist ideas for class, my D&G sunglasses (I finally sprung for high quality sunglasses a couple years ago. Proper UV protection in your eyewear protects both your vision and the delicate skin around your eyes), and Klean Kanteen — we can all make a difference in conserving the environment by lowering our impact. Plus this brand really keeps cold water cold! In terms of on-the-go cosmetics, I always have Boscia blotting papers, a lipstick, a rollerball fragrance and, of course, brush-on mineral SPF by Peter Thomas Roth which you can put on over your makeup or after a post workout sweat."
-
Alison Price Becker
Restaurateur/co-owner, Alison Eighteen
"Inside my bag I have two sets of keys, a pen, a highlighter, copy of my cookbook, which I used this weekend, a water bottle from the Jiitney, curling iron, brush, jewelry Clarins spray, Extra, wallet, Kentucky Derby bracelet, phone, business cards, New York Post, a chocolate bar, ice tea and a few more things!"
-
Sara Davis
"My favorite bag right now is my Celine Luggage Tote — it can hold a lot of stuff and is perfect for meetings or for travel. Inside my bag you'll find hydrating essentials from water to EOS lip balm, my favorite YSL Sheer Candy lipstick and L'Occitane hand cream. My favorite throwback item is Binaca — for some reason it makes me think of that Seinfeld episode and always makes me giggle to see floating around in my bag. Bag or no bag, you'll find me with my iPhone — I can't walk out the door without my music!"

Hallie Sculler
Principal, Insight Incentives and Meetings and co-founder, Seitlin Corporate Warriors Challenge
"By far, the most important thing in my bag is my phone. It’s not just for communication; it also keeps me in touch with my favorite fashion sites and I can see what’s trending on Seitlin Corporate Warriors Challenge Facebook page. I carry a wallet, of course, and sunglasses are essential since I live in sunny South Florida. I always have my earpiece for my phone, a bottle of Tylenol, business cards and hypoallergenic hand wipes should the need for them arise. I don’t carry much makeup – just some sheer lip gloss and eye concealer. And I keep chamomile tea and Truvia on hand as well, when I’m trying to cut down on caffeine."
