But times change along with technology. Soon the Kors watch will be vintage and have an entirely different appeal to an entirely different set of fashionistas. What’s coming next? Smartwaches, dozens of them. The biggest tech companies in the biz are working on their own versions and a handful are already on the market. Some are sporty, some attempt to be sleek. Bands are available in leather, steel and brightly colored rubber. The watch face is, of course, digital. And these watches do more than you ever thought possible. From taking voice commands and tracking your fitness to letting you stream radio during your early morning jog and so much more. Check out our picks below and start saving for one of these pretties. Should we ditch our Kors watch for these? Perhaps not completely, but the phase-out is set to begin in 2014.
Should We Ditch Our Kors Watch for These?
Pebble
When it comes to pricing and buying, you can expect Pebble to be the watch on most early-adopter wrists in 2014. Arguably one of the best known due to its successful Kickstarter campaign, they just came out with a new version called STEEL that's sexier than the original and more stylish. The watch works like your smartphone with apps that make life more convenient. Though many are still in development and a full-on Pebble app store is yet to go live (but they're working on that too), current apps provide, games, streaming music, updates, fitness trackers and alerts. Oh, the phone also receives your texts for you so you don't have to dig your phone out of your bag to check.

Martian
The Martian is a watch that could literally save lives. While there's no sexy app functionality, it's compatible with both Android and iOS platforms and allows you to use it as a replacement for your phone. Working on voice command, you can access your texts, receive calls and place them—from your wrist. No more worries about texting while driving. Just say it and your watch sends it.

i'm Smartwatch
i'm hails from Italy and like Pebble, it works with its own apps. But it also connects to Blackberry, iOS and android through bluetooth technology. That means whatever phone you have, you can connect and check Instagram, personal photos, Facebook, news and the other info you're usually scrolling for on your smartphone and your computer. It'll tell you when someone calls or texts you and provides streaming radio.
