When Moschino’s Barbie-inspired Spring 2015 collection took the runway at Milan Fashion Week, the likes of Chiara Ferragni, Paris Hilton, Helena Bordon and Miley Cyrus had no qualms sporting the outrageous outfits straight from the catwalk. But, let’s be honest, not all of us love Mattel’s iconic plastic toy enough to quite literally become her in human form.
There are ways to sport the fun and feminine trend without looking like a girl who never really grew up, though. You can tone down bright pink with nudes and soft greys, work it with other brights like oranges and greens for a bold look, or cleverly incorporate it into your outfit without overdoing it.
