Frilly pinafore frocks hit the (notably diverse) runway alongside cropped anoraks and feminine tops done in sporty materials like nylon. Statement socks and silky trousers came emblazoned with the word “love.” “I think we all need love now,” Johansson told Fashionista, “Sometimes it feels weird to print ‘love,’ it feels a bit cheesy sometimes, but now it felt really… it’s a strong word and a positive message.” Yet again, politics enter the fashion realm.
