The Almost-Maxi Skirt Is the Silhouette of the Season

Thanks to spring’s arrival, we’re in a rush to ditch our heavy coats, hats, gloves and boots in favor of warmer-weather fare. But before you break out the shorts, crop tops and miniskirts, remember that it doesn’t go from 0 to 70 degrees in a flash. Unfortunately, low- to mid-50s are pretty commonplace this time of year and it may be a while before we get up to the 60s. So what are we supposed to rock in the meantime? Well, lucky for us, long skirts are back in the spotlight. Their resurgence is partially due to the grunge renaissance and the fact that ankle-grazers popped up on several runways during the Fall 2019 season.
