The Versace gown Jennifer Lopez wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards is the stuff of fashion legend. Although see-through dresses are pretty commonplace in 2019, the plunging semi-sheer gown that cemented J.Lo’s fashion icon status was pretty risqué back then. Now we’re getting the chance to relive that important moment in fashion history on our feet. Contemporary streetwear brand Concepts partnered with Versace to create a limited-edition Chain Reaction sneaker that channels the revealing gown.
The jungle green kicks feature a similar print to J.Lo’s showstopping dress. And just like the dress (and all things Versace), they don’t come cheap. A pair will set you back $1,075, but sneakerheads or anyone still obsessed with chunky sneakers will be willing to shell out the dough.
