Think luxury and sustainability are mutually exclusive? Think again. Italian footwear brand Nomasei proves that you can go luxe and still do the planet a solid by slipping on a pair of its truly stylish shoes.
Founded by Paule Tenaillon and Marine Braquet, Nomasei (which translates to “six hands”) boasts an environmentally-conscious lineup of mules, sandals, boots and more. “We think it’s not only about choosing eco-materials or eco-components, which we do, but also about rethinking the entire process,” Braquet told Vogue. And the brand is even trying to become carbon neutral. Even its packaging is good for the environment.
From croc-effect loafers to sleek ankle boots, these shoes are made for street style snaps and Instagram OOTDs. Plus, they’re pretty reasonably priced, ranging from $140 to $560.
